About Us

Over three decades ago, in 1986, Joseph Hanna purchased Paramount Baking Company with a humble group of employees. Starting out in Detroit, six bakers and two drivers worked alongside Joseph to operate the pita production, selling to small fruit markets and a handful of restaurants in Greek Town. The business quickly began to grow and eventually relocated to Roseville, where it now employs five times its original number of staff. Today, Paramount Baking Company’s products can be found in most Michigan locations of Kroger, Meijer, Randazzo, Vince & Joe’s, and Nino Salvaggio.
